For Health Insurance Policyholders, we will assist you to coordinate with your insurance providers to ensure a stress-free stay in the hospital and smooth arrangement of necessary repatriation.

 
 
When medical service is needed at Bangkok Phuket Hospital for In-patient :
   
1. A patient is to present the following documents to our staffs :
    - Your current insurance I.D Card
- Your passport
- A copy of your insurance policy
- 10 Points fillings (for Scandinavian PJ)
  2. Our international coordinator will submit all information of the insured and medical report to insurance company / assistance company / Claim agent.
  3. During your admission, the insurer will fax payment guarantee / confirmation to Bangkok Phuket Hospital normally within 24 hours if its policy covers.
 
 

For Out -patient service

In the case of out-patient, the advance payment would be preferable. The hospital will issue a medical certificate for reimbursement directly with your insurance company when you come back your country. Most tourists who insured through Japanese and Scandinavian Insurance can apply for medical cashless service.

  - Terms or conditions of your policy
  - Out-patient, follow up treatment or hotel call
  - Insurance submitted after your discharge
 
 

You may contact directly to your agent or your insurance company for pre - authorisation prior to arrival at the hospital. It will help you to more smooth in receiving the claim approval.

How should I do when the approval is not received ?
In the case that approval is not received in time of your discharge, you are required to pay the hospital bill in full, by cash or credit card. The hospital will issue a medical certificate for your further reimbursement. Please contact directly to your insurance company when you arrive your country.

What are the excess amounts ?
There may be some expenses incurred that are not covered such as, excess amount or deductible, telephone calls, extra food or other services, medical expense or room rate that is over limits allowed. You are required to pay the excess amount at the time of your discharge.
